European intranet for biggest Pharmaceutical company across 9 markets



Teva is the global leader in generic pharmaceuticals, with 14,000 Employees across 29 countries in Europe. Following the success of Teva UK’s Kentico based InsideTeva intranet, Teva Europe needed a cost-effective intranet that would:

  • provide a solid platform for the communication of internal initiatives
  • provide an easy to navigate hub for locating commonly used department-specific materials
  • be easy to maintain
  • engage users across Europe

Although we had a relevant and successful template to work from, the challenges of communicating across Europe are different from those within a single country. Teva wanted the same “wow” factor that InsideTeva had, but it needed to work across Europe and, most importantly, it needed to be turned around very quickly.


Following a necessarily brief consultation period, we worked with Teva to identify the structure of EuroZone, and identified the key functions and departmental requirements it would have to support.

Building on Kentico’s excellent feature set, we also used our own core set of intranet components we had developed for insideTeva -  document libraries, filters, enhanced image & video galleries and layout components – as the basis for the new site.

Fortunately, given our existing very close working relationship with Teva’s communications team, we were able to move swiftly through the design, information architecture and build stages. From this collaboration we arrived quickly at a slick, engaging and cost-effective solution.


Not only was the EuroZone turned around on-budget within the tight 1 month schedule, it has also gone on to become  a major and essential vehicle for supporting core business functions and engaging the workforce across Europe.
